The short version
- This site is for Fox Hall residents and homeowners. Accounts are approved by the association.
- Be a good neighbour. The feed is a community noticeboard, not a place for harassment, advertising, or disputes.
- Your sign-in code is yours — it grants access to your home's records. Don't pass it on.
- This website is a convenience. The recorded bylaws and declarations govern, not anything written here.
1. Who may use this site
The public pages are open to anyone. The resident portal is for owners, co-owners, and renters of the 224 homes in the Fox Hall subdivision.
Registration does not create access by itself. Every registration is reviewed and approved by the association before that home can receive a sign-in code. The association may decline or revoke access — for instance where it cannot confirm that the person lives at the address claimed.
2. Your account
You sign in with your address, and a one-time code is sent to the contact details the association holds for your home. There is no password.
That code grants access to your household's information. Keep it to yourself, and don't forward it. If you receive a code you didn't request, ignore it — and tell us, because it means someone entered your address.
Access is tied to living at the address. When you move out it ends, and the association will close your access.
3. The neighbourhood feed and seasonal tasks
These are for the Fox Hall community. When posting:
- Do share neighbourhood news, questions, recommendations, lost pets, events, and the common-area work you've done.
- Don't post anything harassing, threatening, discriminatory, obscene, or defamatory.
- Don't post commercial advertising or solicitations.
- Don't post other people's personal information — addresses, phone numbers, photographs of them or their property — without their agreement.
- Don't use the feed to pursue disputes with neighbours or the board. Bring those to a board meeting, where they can actually be resolved.
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you give the association permission to display it on this site to other residents. You confirm you have the right to post it, including any photographs.
The association may hide or remove any content, and may suspend access, at its discretion. It is a small neighbourhood site run by volunteers, not a public forum, and there is no appeals process beyond talking to the board.
4. Accuracy of your information
Please give accurate details and keep them current — particularly your email address, since it is the only way to reach you with a sign-in code. Registering on behalf of a home you do not live in is not permitted.
5. Dues and payments
Online dues payment is not yet available. When it launches:
- Payments will be handled by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored by the association.
- Processing fees may be shown separately and added to the amount charged. The amount will always be displayed before you confirm.
- Paying online is a convenience, not a change to what is owed. The assessment itself is governed by the association's recorded documents, and a failed or disputed online payment does not discharge it.
- Refunds are handled by the association, not through this website.
6. This site is not the official record
The recorded declarations, covenants, restrictions, and bylaws govern the Fox Hall subdivision. Where anything on this website conflicts with those recorded documents, the recorded documents control.
Information here is provided in good faith and may be incomplete or out of date. Nothing on this site is legal, financial, or professional advice.
7. Availability
This site is run by volunteers and provided as-is. We don't guarantee it will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and it may be changed or taken down at any time. To the extent the law allows, the association and its volunteers are not liable for any loss arising from use of — or inability to use — this website.
Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Security and acceptable use
Don't attempt to gain access to another household's information, disrupt the site, submit automated or bulk requests, or work around the checks protecting the forms. Report anything you find to admin@foxhalltroy.com — we would much rather hear from you.
9. Privacy
How your information is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated. The date at the top will change, and continuing to use the site means accepting the current version.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Oakland County, Michigan.
